Parkin Lecture nominations – deadline Friday 30th January

york-logoTo recognise the the outstanding achievements of the late Dr Andrew Parkin in his roles as scientist and teacher, the YCG holds an annual prize lecture at the BCA Spring Meeting. The lecture is awarded to a Young Crystallographer who has been recognised for outstanding contributions to promoting science, raising public awareness of science, teaching crystallography/science or showing originality in outreach and teaching activities. Friday 30th January is the deadline for nominations by peers and/or supervisors. If you know someo

Bursaries for the BCA Spring Meeting – DEADLINE EXTENDED

The deadline for applications for YCG bursaries has been extended until this Friday, the 30th January at 5pm. If you have submitted an abstract for an oral presentation at this year’s BCA Spring Meeting, you may be eligilbe! Each bursary is worth £250 and is aimed particularly at independent research fellows, postdocs and senoir PhD students.

Bursary Deadlines for the BCA Spring Meeting 2015

york-logoThere are several bursaries available to help cover the costs of the meeting for Postdocs, Independent Research Fellows and PhD students. Both the YCG and BCA have bursaries available. The deadline for application for the BCA’s ABBF bursaries is this coming Friday, 16th January. The deadline for the YCG bursaries is Friday 23rd January.
